How does everyone in this bowl feel towards master’s degrees in data science/analytics? I didn’t study this in undergrad so I’m looking to get an analytics degree but I’ve heard mixed reviews.

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

I am currently working on my MBA in a professional evening and weekend program at a highly accredited university. I am thinking about transferring to a much smaller private online program, specifically because they offer a concentration in organizational health, which directly builds on my doctoral research. Does great depth and specialization outweigh the value of a highly respected generalist degree?

I keep hearing that Booth’s MBA program is rigorous (maybe the most rigorous out of M7). That said, how much more work are students expected to do compared to HBS, Wharton, Kellogg, etc.? I don’t know if this is an outdated opinion, considering a lot of MBAs are very demanding. Booth is personally my top choice for having a flexible curriculum & 2-3 days of classes. But I really want to know what to expect around the “rigorous” label. Does it mean I’ll be buried in coursework the other 2-3 days?

So I've been at my job for 5+ years as a data analyst/back office support team. I made my way up into making a little over $40k. I've been WFH the past 2 yrs and overtime more than half my team has now been pulled out to work for a diff department which resulted in me taking 90% of our daily tasks to handle. Prior to Accenture, I have already served as S&O Manager with Deloitte India for ~1.5 yrs - so this would be my second stint with Deloitte as Manager "again".
