Has anyone successfully deferred their offer at Booth or any other schools (Class of 2027)? Was Admission open to any reasons beyond medical/military deployment?

Have been with company just a year and a half and having to change to 3rd manager already. Are all bigger companies like this?

Just getting out of the worst contract I've ever had. Never had a client work so hard to make sure I couldn't do anything. Put in 2 weeks notice a few weeks ago that would end it 3 weeks before the contract completed because I found something else.

Had a phone call last week with T15 adcom inquiring if they had additional merit funds. Adcom said she would pass my name to scholarship committee and would only hear back if I was granted more aid. She did say she would follow up with me as we got closer to deposit deadline (end of month). Should I email her for a follow up or schedule another phone call or just wait for her to follow up with me?

Does an MBA (US) make sense for me? Male, Indian, Age 32, Married working in tech consulting with 10 YOE. Base is $165 with steady increases and bonus is typically 15%. I eventually do want to cross the $300K threshold but I know stopping work for 2 years and getting and MBA probably won’t get me a $300K job right away. Becoming a manger in my current company/path will probably get me there in terms of TC. Also considering EMBA from a good school (Wharton Global, Duke, Kellogg, Booth).

I got an offer from HBS and Wharton last year. GMAT: 740. Background: male, top 20 state school. I was at big 4 at the time. Applied R2. AMA. Good luck to everyone!

My long term goal is to go back to consulting more of a business advisor from a strategy perspective

Would MBA be any good for me especially looking at strategy side?
I don’t want to spend $200K and would probably go online MBA in a mid tier school. Are those any good?
