Is it SAFE joining Wipro as technical lead (B3) with 37LPA? Knowing that package is pretty high as compared to collogues in same band. HR is not ready to give project manager(C1) position.
Appreciate your suggestions/input.

Please tell us who this is so others can avoid having to deal with the same level of unprofessionalism from this employer.
I’m an SAP PM. Was building out their SAP team. Think they are going to ditch that idea all together and hire a third party for SAP.
In the states sometimes threatening to report a bad client to credit agencies will result in a speedy payment. Cheaper than a lawyer.

clients who pay little.. will usually disrespect you.
Not sure I understand your comment? The rate was $150 and hour and I was pretty happy for a 6 month contract. They are incredible assholes and have no idea what they are doing. I was paid up until the last month. They were offering me full time work until radio silence 4 months in. Would have never taken it just because I knew the ethics were sketchy. That’s why I got out of there.
Call a lawyer. They will be the best to consult you on what to do and should not charge you for an initial call.
Not talking about after I stopped working - prior to my notice. Never heard issue with performance before (and I'm confident in my work - so it's a bunch of bs).
Anyone dealt with this? It's about $6k. Pissed off and willing to pay a lawyer as much just to make them pay lawyer costs.
What reason are they giving you for non-payment of work that was done/completed, have you send them an invoice?
Sent invoice for 40 one week and 16 the next. They are only approving 16 hours on the first week. COO was in meetings I hosted (and prepped a deck for) in the second week.
They are saying I was checked out looking for something else so I don't deserve the hours. First time I heard anything to them was when they told me not to work the 14 days notice I gave them.
Wow! This doesn’t even sound ethical. If you billed for those 40 hours, they should by law pay you for your services. Am I missing something else because this sounds like an open/shut case.
100% unethical. The question is whether or not I can do anything.
capgemini is a hilariously incompetent organization. In India they actually randomized all lower grade employees and reduced their salaries even though profits scaled by 50%. Managers are very notorious for giving good projects to their sycophants and have private parties with the ladies (if you know what I mean).
$6k is a lot of money. Hope your contract has protections in place that will help you. Talk to a lawyer and get this sorted. You may feel like it's a lot of effort, but if you let them go now, it will haunt you throughout your life.
Not taking action will take a toll on your soul, and may even change your personality.
where are you based out of?
are you and the company based out of the same jurisdiction?
That’ll teach you not to work with Capgemini or places like that again.
I was full time with Capgemini a few years ago. Too hard to change here on FB. I made sure none of my contractors were treated this way.

You can absolutely do something. Small claims court costs like $150 bucks and is well worth the money. The 6k may exceed small claims but definitely look into it before contacting a lawyer and giving them 70%.
You have a contract and I assume you have a proof of invoice that says “due within x days”? That’s legally binding lawyer up I’ve heard after an initial formal legal letter it usually resolves the issue.
