I gave interview in Amazon and cleared all the rounds , then went on hold and still on hold due to hiring freeze in that departement. HR does respond and update me when reached out.
Interesting thing which happened here is iam cracking each every product based interviews now after my tough preparation for Amazon and getting higher packages than what Amazon would give. So whatever happens , happens for good. Cheers Amazon

I think I may
I would absolutely recommend taking your PTO. The only way I can rest and recover is by taking a few days off. It doesn't cure the burnout, but it definitely helps.
At this point, I think I have to
I left my toxic job 2 months ago. The year leading up to this point was extremely challenging and I was put in impossible situations with zero leadership support. During that time, I took multiple chunks of PTO and ultimately a month of burnout leave. It helped for a bit but soon I was back in the same place. I tried to implement boundaries, establish routines, do meaningful activities outside of work - all the “right things”… Two months on from leaving I am slowly starting to feel better.
Why are you scared to leave?
I am scared to leave because i feel so dedicated to the children and families here
If you believe you have burnout, go to a mental health MD. If they agree you have burnout, you can submit paperwork for short term disability. You’re welcome and I wish you well on your journeys 🫶

Ive noticed you post here frequently, or more frequently than others and Im genuinely curious; how is your role as a Director of Children and Family ministry so stressful? It seems like working for/in a church would be one of the most serene and least stressful jobs out there.
That is a misconception many have. We are a mega church that also has a private school on campus. We carry all the same stresses that any school does.
