I once had a boss who spent just about every hour of every day in his office with the door closed. So he was absent in the sense of not really offering much direction. We would joke that he spent his days shopping online, which might have actually been true. Which was fine, sometimes it's better to manage yourself.

I have also worked for a boss similar to this. Their calendar was always full but private so you couldn’t see what exactly they were doing- we all assumed he made stuff up to make his calendar seem full.

I was recently (in April) fired from a good nursing position that I was at for 5 years. I reached out to my old ADON to get some information on where we had our vaccinations from and she told me that I should come back and the administrator that I had issues with is gone. Is this something I should even consider? I miss my patients and some of my coworkers and the pay is better, but I don't feel like I would really be welcome to come back.

Fresh embryo transfer. Got my period yesterday, and my pregnancy test in the clinic is tomorrow... so frustrated after all the investment... I had two embryos frozen so hopefully next time it happens... hope everyone gets what they want.

Anyone in this group from Canada? How did you all manage to get medication if CBT didn’t work for you? I have tried everything but my family doctor says that she or psychologists aren’t allowed to give prescription and only psychiatrists can. I cant seem to find any directly or through referral 😣
