Sorry. Any hope it’s just implantation bleeding?
Otherwise - was embryo PGT tested? How was your lining? How can we help?

I don’t agree with your doctor that a genetically abnormal embryo “will not stick”. If that was the case, there would be no children born with disabilities caused by genetic disorders. IMHO I think a transfer of an untested embryo should only be done if you’re okay with the risk of this- whether you choose to terminate or keep a child with disabilities.
I am so sorry to hear that! However, I heard the chances of success are much higher with a frozen embryo transfer. I had two failed transfers but learned so much from each one. You are not alone ❤️
My doc said the same thing about the success of frozen versus fresh. Apparently the hormones you take for the egg retrieval make it optimal for retrieving the egg, but not optimal for implantation, so typically frozen transfers have better results. He showed me a whole study on this, so hopefully you will have better luck with the frozen ones! Hang in there!
I read about mixed perspectives on the impact of “stress”— I’m having a stressful consulting job as you all are so I can’t live a stress free life. I hope it’s not because of the stress of meeting the deadlines that caused the transfer failure.
Women conceive in war zones, refugee camps, and far more stressful situations than our work lives. Even if you laid in a hammock on the beach, the outcome probably wouldn’t be any different. It’s all chance. You have my permission to punch anyone who tells you to “just relax and it will happen.”
My first FET failed... but second one was successful! Hang in there - it’s easy to feel defeated and discouraged but trust the process (easier said than done right?).
Stay strong 💪🏼
