Yes. I am more effective and resourceful. I met a friend who joined a corporate job and he said being a former consultant definitely shows his higher quality when compared to his peers. He feels much more mission oriented rather than “it will happen when it happens “ attitude of his peers

Only with the fact that I actually did it for 6 years.
My natural personality is very reticent and don’t like change too much. I’m the type that would stick around the same company, same position for 20+ years. I’m glad I was forced into dynamic situations early on.
Consulting (pre-pandemic) made me a better traveler. I can pack light, plan itineraries, get through security easily, navigate airports, figure out how to get to/from places, find good restaurants and identify good hotels. Even just packing light is a great skill, as many of my non-consulting friends overpack and check bags
