I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

Sometimes it makes sense to add an investment resource. Confirm you will get util for your hours and do your best to set yourself up billable follow-up work
NB codes still count for utilization. It just means they’re not billing it back to the client.
I was working with clients at client site but the WBS shows non-billable 😓
It's still a direct code, I don't think it will impact utilization. But you should confirm that.
I’ve seen that with analysts but they still get the util
It was an internal project? You didn't work with any clients?
Was it a real WBS? Or one of those PRD/BD codes?
It’s a great strategy to demonstrate the value of a critical role the client isn’t willing to pay for and get the client familiar with new team members.
Nb codes still count as utilization.
@D2, @D3 agreed. But are they not supposed to let you know that when they are asking if they can staff you? Or is that not the norm?
OP it literally doesn’t matter at all.
