Thought I'd share another leadership opportunity, this time for industry leaders in the Tech & Digital sector. Would love to connect with anyone who is a senior leader (MD / SVP) with deep experience in this sector alongside leadership experience in a TA / Growth or Client Relationship environment. Amazing opportunity to further establish and grow our presence with global leaders in Tech.

I know the “analyst” title can be pretty broad but at this point it doesn’t even seem like an analyst role. Even the job description was VERY vague! I’m super disappointed because the job pays well and it’s a great company but I don’t want to jump into a role with responsibilities I wasn’t seeking.
You’re right. Glad I figured it out now before I left a job I actually like. My goal was to get a higher salary but I will hesitate if it’s not a good fit.
Rising Star
I would take it and keep looking coz the job market is crazy bad. You might learn something new or different in the meantime that you might utilize in the future.
It's good that your possible teammate was honest and now you know what to expect. If you're not in a bad financial situation, keep looking but know you'd run the risk of the same happening to you. Try to connect with employees on LinkedIn to try to get a better sense of the job. Something like "Could you share what a typical day looks like?" will give you insights about the role, that hiring managers might not tell.
