Heard from a recruiter today. I never hear from recruiters. I’ve been in my current job for six years and pretty much thought this would be it, no one would ever be looking for me over 50. Tips?

Don’t tell them you’re over 50.

Haha. I’ll tell you something. Seeing what they want I seriously thought about recommending my 83 year old mother. So grateful I am where I am now.

Watched on YouTube about the Netherlands biking culture and how it's a good place for kids. Thinking of staying long term and sending kids to Dutch school.

Just beginning to apply via LinkedIn.
Both of us plan to work and needed inputs on what combined salary would make sense.
Would it be good to accept an opportunity if one us of us gets 60keuro and hope spouse would get an opportunity once we move there?

Hello, I wanted to mention that I work as a sports commentator, specifically about soccer. I used to be one of the main journalists for Spanish media, but since I moved to Miami I feel the general passion for soccer is very different 🥲 The energy and commitment are not even close to what I felt in Spain, where some businesses would close if the match was too important. I hope this nostalgia goes away soon.

I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.
