Whats the average VC analyst salary
Currently interviewing for a designer role at Tesla - wanted some advice. The hiring manager has seemed uninterested and always dropped off interviews early and without answering any of my questions. He also mentioned that he's lost 4 designers from the team recently (red flag!). I think it'd be a cool role, but it sounds like I'd be the only designer and there's not a ton of support, BUT if I do well - lots of room for growth and promotion. Plus internal transfers after a year also an option?
Was hired into a company at a level that was more junior than my skills (Was out of work due to pandemic for a year). I’ve been at the company 5 months. We’re going through a reorg and my new position will really be leveraging my years of experience more so than other role. Is it appropriate to discuss a raise/adding senior to title? Or should I do the job and then prove myself then talk about raise. I have more experience than the senior members of my team. New leadership than when I was hired
What is the average bonus for an associate?
Any opening for PMO analyst?
Anyone know of any openings for a SC in commercial SI PMFT? Trying to switch from federal and staffit is zero help (surprise).
I want to work in a data analytics role but I'm worried that if I switch to another firm they'll just staff me on more IA projects, my background. Should I switch to industry first to get skilled?
How does Senior Consultant at IBM translate to Accenture? And what is the salary range for that position?
Are PwC human capital salary bands aligned with advisory bands? I.e. does a manager in IFS make the same as one in management consulting?
Hey McKinsey Fish! Is there any real luck of applying to a job on the website? I applied to an implementation role that I know I would be qualified for but without any referral. Been a few weeks so was just hoping to atleast see a rejection 😁
Turning down a highly lucrative Amazon offer for an offer with a small sign on bonus and a 20% pay bump but it will offer WLB and I can work remotely forever and it’s work I’m more interested in. First time I am not making prestige the number one priority. Feels scary. Idk why I have so much anxiety around turning down the offer.
I feel like tax is not for me and want to get out before I get too far! I’m three years in and am a HUGE people person. I love connecting, leading, teaching, helping, and get none of that in my role at PwC. I stare at excel sheets all day and try to figure out wtf the associate did compared to last year. Does anyone have thoughts on a Career that would be good for someone like me? Does anyone know anything about project managers? Or something like that? Hard to replace my income I guess too... 🥺
Is it worth doing the bank bonus churn? Seems like a pain to keep switching direct deposits, but seems a good way to make an ok amt of cash at least for a yr.
Looking to get a few certifications, I have worked in both IT and HR consulting and am trying to decide between ITIL, SHRM, and PMP. Any thoughts on which would be best for future, quickest to get, hardest test? I get the cert paid for and a bonus upon completion, so trying to decide which one to pursue or the order if I want multiple.
What is salary range for senior associate in pwc
I am about to get an offer from Infosys for Salesforce role. Total experience 11.6 yrs. Currect fixed CTC is 17.3 lakhs. How much can i expect from Infosys.?
I’m interviewing for a role that is open to both remote and in-office (when it’s safe) work. Should I give salary expectations based on cost of living in the city where the office is located or based on where I’d live working remotely? Cost of living in the office location is a lot higher than where I’d live but since they are also considering in-person candidates, I know the budget is there.
Bonus: - 7% Recent CPI reports: 6-7% inflation I directly sourced and did 80% of the legwork to get the partners a $26mm new account (where we had previously been fired in 2020) with a potential $9mm contract extension in 1Q21. Time to lateral back to financial advisory. Happy Thursday!
what do you think is the most difficult type of role for an analyst to grasp without experience?
Forget Glassdoor. The government publicly reports the salaries of H1B visa employees. http://h1bdata.info/index.php?em=&job=&city=&year=All
Arrived at LGA terminal C. Called Uber. After 15 min of wait the driver tells me they blocked the road to the terminal. That explains why the cab line is so long. And why do i see so many...
Does it make sense to hire an executive career coach? So, I want to move on and find another job, also I would rather move to California or NY, I’m in MA now. My problem is that I’ve been with my current employer for 7 years, and they transferred me from Europe 5 years ago. I’m in my first VP job, and I got promoted from the inside. So my network is not really that big, it’s largest part consists of our employees, and I don’t have very deep connections in the HR community yet.
So I’m leaving for school out-of-state in two weeks. Today I was invited to a friend’s vacation home with a small group next weekend. Should I go? I’m conflicted because my school recommends I quarantine for two weeks before coming to campus.
Me and my husband have about 70k saved. Our monthly expense is around 2k . No debts. Monthly income is around 13k. Is buying a house worth 1 million too risky ?
I want to move to a remote fishing village in SE Asia and live out my days without excel or ppt
I have a child who has been identified as a selective mute. Anyone have experience with this?
Another laid off case here. Anyone moving out of US considered keeping the 401K as is instead of withdrawing? Any pros / cons to keep in mind ? Pro I see is no penalty and the fact that it'll continue to grow till I turn 65. Con is that it's a decent size amount in my case and I might need some if that cash if I don't get a job soon 🙄
I am struggling with the fact that I have 13 years of HR experience in one capacity or another, along with a bachelors degree and my PHR designation yet companies say “I’m not qualified or they ghost me when I apply for HR openings. I am experienced in all aspects of HR. How are people with little to no experience coming right out of college obtaining higher level roles than I have currently? It makes my passion for the field just go away.
anyone know if i can increase the wire transfer limit in my chase account? it’s $25k right now and i’m looking to transfer $35k
Is it normal to get basically zero feedback? Brand new associate working at a mid sized firm. Been there a few months now and firm is still WFH. I get a fairly consistent amount of work. But I send my work product off into the ether and typically hear nothing or very little back (even when I follow up). I’ve gotten same vague “good work” feedback but that’s about it. I’ve drafted memos to clients and some briefs that have been sent/submitted nearly verbatim, so I assume that’s a good sign.
Hello Fishes, looking for honest feedback, What is iqvia's US delivery team like and work they do, specifically based out of bangalore. ? Exploring career options in the current market, I have experience of 7 years in pharma real-world analytics and healthcare analytics. Appreciate if anyone can provide details here.
Starting at Deloitte soon. Expecting a kid in June.. would I be eligible to take paternity leave even though I haven’t been employed for 12 months? Thanks!!
When you’re comparing offers how you put a value against benefits like vacation allowance? Just calculate the value of a paid day as a % of base?
Sitting on offer for $120k, excellent benefits and only 40-50% travel. 3+ YOE. How do those of you with families deal with the FOMO of that extra ~20% pay you could get at more like 80% travel?
Help. I just graduated and started as a new hire, and I can’t figure out if I hate consulting, hate my current project/gig, or plain just hate working
Any one know or work for Friedman LLP? Curious about their green card policy. Any requirement? Easier than big 4?
Am I getting ripped off? Suburban Philadelphia, firm is ~200 attorneys across all offices but ~40 at my location, required billables are 2,040 minimum. Salary is $70,000.
