Globant India Pvt. Ltd. Hi Globers ! I have an offer from Globant for the role of a BA. While discussing the role with HR pre and post the interviews & offer, I had specifically ask the HR to tag me to Ahmedabad location as that's my hometown and I do not wish to relocate. But she has rolled out the offer for Pune location ane verbally ( isn't giving me in writing ) assured me that the location will be flexible. May I know from the fellow Globers if we have location flexibility or WFH option available? Globant India Pv

Hi Fishes,
Can anyone tell me how many rounds of interview are there in JPMorgan Chase & Co?
I had only 1 round as of now, it was with the Process head VP along with the person I will be reporting (if got selected)
It's been almost 4 days since I had that interview; however, no feedback has been shared with me.
I can see that my profile/application is under review for basic requirements.
Should I consider my profile as reject?
Any thoughts/guidance would be highly appreciated.
Thank you

I had an interview w/ the Hiring Manager at Boston Consulting Group for a position and it went so well that the HM said on the spot I was going to be moving onto the next round. Its been weeks since that interview & I've had to follow up w/ the recruiter 3x asking for an update. I mentioned interviewing elsewhere but prioritizing BCG. He finally responded to that saying he was going to debrief with the HM and get back to me but nothing... what gives?

The hiring manager makes the final decision. I’ve disregarded feedback from my teams and peer interviewers. At the end of the day, it is my decision.
Generally it’s hiring manager but if they haven’t been in company for too long then hiring manager’s boss. Team it depends.

HR is the gate keeper. In some ways you could say they have the most influence because your resume may not even make it to the manager or team without them thinking you are a viable candidate.
Assuming your resume makes it past HR, it is the purview of the HM and the team, depending on how the company/team is structured. I've applied at some companies where the decision is 100% the HM, and others where the team all have equal say and even one "No" vote sinks your chances, even if the HM likes you.
