As a Cambridge university graduate who is 7 months into the job search in the Singapore market for data science and machine learning related roles, I am happy to provide any tips on either admissions for Cambridge or the local Singapore job market! What is the salary hike you aim for when negotiating compensation with a new company? I’ve talked to a few and ultimately passed because none of them are meeting the 30% increase I’m looking for. Are companies already starting to be stingy again or am I looking in the wrong place?

Jr. Associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in Central Florida. Good credentials; top 10% at T14, law review. Sick of private practice bc of hours and pressure. Also, not enjoying the work that Central Florida offers, but want to live here.

I want to one day have my own firm. Trying to think outside the box on how to get the experience w/o being in big law for ten years.

Thinking of applying to be an ASA and to the FL AGO. Would like trial experience or civil rights/con law work.
