What Banks do you guys use? I’m a first year and I’m looking to move from PNC to one that makes my money work for me (as much as possible, at least).
Does anyone have experience working for PNC Treasury Management? The group recently reached out regarding a position in Healthcare Product Innovation and I can't find much in terms of that branch …
Anyone here have experience with PNC Investments? Interviewing tomorrow, any insight would be appreciated!
Chase gave me a $600 offer if I hold 15k in their savings account for 90 days. I only have one other, regular PNC checking account. Is this a good offer to switch? I have the CSR if that matters
Best exits for analytics in Cleveland? I have been looking at banks, but so far I can’t find anything that will not result in a pay cut. Interviewed at key, pnc, Sherwin, and progressive.

Can anyone recommend a certificate or course that is actually useful for developing professionals and/or reviewing performance? I don’t want/need something that is just a credential, I’m actually looking to get some formal grounding in these two topics so I can overhaul processes at my consulting firm. Thanks for your advice!!!
So, I'm really curious, for those of us who aren't essential workers, how are you handling return to work? Phases? 50% capacity? Self Identifying disclosures? Sanitization stations?

What training or guidance are you giving managers at your firms about managing hybrid teams? There is a lot out there on remote teams, but a lot of us are going back three days a week which means people at home and people in the room. Any tips to pass on?

Workday HELP! I need an amazing consultant or contact who can help us fix our workday woes. I’m not in charge of workday but I’m determined to fix it. We have massive issues with the complexity and ever changing security/permissions/workflows implemented by our system analysts. Every couple of months it changes and we all have to relearn simple tasks again. The analysts try to blame the users but I know it’s more than that.

Hello! I have a two part question: 1) is it worth it to obtain an SHRM specialty credential if I don’t have the broader SHRM certification? 2) has anyone gotten the People Analytics or Talent Acquistion credential? If so, how valuable was it from a learning perspective? Do you feel it significantly contributed to your knowledge in either area? Thank you!
Looking for some insight into the recruiting process. If a req was taken down after I had an interview, does it mean the job was filled? From the moment the hiring manager makes a decision and tells the recruiter, what are next steps before the successful candidate is notified? Do you have to finalize an offer with the comp team?
You’re constantly showing up for everyone else, but who’s showing up for you? I started an initiative to coach HR/people leaders because I know what it’s like to be doing all the things for everyone else with little support or focus on your own well-being, growth and development. It’s a lonely game! I’d be delighted to create the space to make you a priority. Would love to offer a free session, or simply connect: https://www.chrisrollins.me/peopleleaders.
Looking for feedback on Paylocity and UKG payroll HRIS. We have 250 employees and rapidly growing company.
Currently, I have an employee who is struggling. Missing deadlines, making false promises to clients etc. Recently, I sat in one of his development sessions with his manager, and I was shocked at how disengaged he was and how junior he actually vs what we pay him. After some further investigation, we are afraid he lied on his resume and how his experience. How do you go about a situation such as this? This is a first for me.
Would my bosses let me move to work in a different state? I work as an internal consultant within KPMG, working for the firm within the internal HR team. I have been with KPMG for 5 months but I am wanting to move back home to be with my family - on the other side of the country. There’s only a 2 hour Timezone difference and I’d make sure to work on current time. My line manager I report to lives in another state to me anyway - and it seems to work well for her. Am I pushing my luck to ask?
First time founder - would you recommend square, stripe or something else for purchases between $150-$10k or what alternatively?
Would you rather have a project with an average 8-9 hours of work everyday or a project where you barely work at all?
Is it generally enough to have a decent social life / casual hobbies, a good GMAT and GPA, and really strong recommendations from work to get into a top school...? How “extra” do my extracurriculars need to be? All I really do is work. Psyched out by that guy who makes pizza in his oven for free. Man, that guy has a great story and seems like someone I’d want in my MBA program. I feel like such a bore.
Question on insurance - we are expecting in first half of 2021, which insurance plan is better for coverage and maternity facilities at hospital? Currently in high deductible and every hospital visit costs me $500 for test, blood work, ultrasound and there is additional $150 per session for Gestational diabetes with a nurse practitioner which I think is super expensive. I just feel I am being ripped off with $800-$1000 of expenses in every visit every month.
Does anybody have insights as to Morgan Lewis’s post-COVID approach to remote work? As in, do they intend to have flexible arrangements, or are they going to require everybody to report in-person?
Just got promoted. At the same time, got an industry offer from my target sector, director of the internal strategy team. Both TC and base of the offer is 10% lower than my current numbers, and the gap will become 50k-60k reduction in base alone after my promotion. Am i crazy to still consider this offer?
I recently received an offer from a competitor with a promotion to my existing role and close to 50% hike. PwC is about to file my I140 in premium now and now I am caught up in 2 minds. Would I wait for another 180 days to make sure that my I140 technically cannot be revoked or do i risk joining the new firm ? The new firm would start my GC process after 6 months of joining and my H1 max out period is in July 2024. Any suggestions are welcome!
If it's not requested in the job announcement and it's not required to complete the form, do you have to submit your transcript when applying to MBB?
How do I pick myself back up and keep from being resentful? I went up and did not make the promotion to manager this review cycle. This, despite a strong case and backing from practice leadership. I have been staffed in the Manager role since last November. The decision makes me feel like I’m being taken advantage of. Separately, I took a medical leave to tend to my suffering mental health. I went on leave just as I heard back on promotion. I am dreading coming back, knowing I feel this way.
Hello! I am going back to school for my bachelor’s degree in medical administration. After that, I am not sure what position/s I will be qualified to apply for. I already have my associate’s degree as a medical administrative assistant. Anyone have any advice/suggestions?
Hey McKinsey 🐠- any insights on McKinsey’s solution product manager role? Comp (HCOL loc), growth, nature of work etc. TIA!
Hey... help me out. I’m a senior getting ready to hopefully be promoted to manager this year. CISM vs CISSP? I don’t mind staying in IT Audit but I want some cyber knowledge to stay relevant. Which one should I get? which is more relevant for my career path into IT audit or IT compliance?
Considering applying to B-school, I already have an MPH from a top program and 3 years of experience - is the opportunity cost worth it to go to a top school or should I look at part-time or EMBA (after a few more years) programs? Long-term goal is to work in healthcare VC/PE
Thoughts on "unlimited PTO"? I'm interviewing at a place that keeps bringing it up as a benefit. They say that corporate supports people taking a week to two weeks off. Maybe I'm cynical, but I've heard that at companies that offer this this, people rarely use the PTO or the PTO is rarely approved. What have your experiences been with this?
Suggestion for books for a relaxing vacation?
