I've tried to negotiate with deloitte but they are not ready to negotiate and asking me to join on the same CTC which was initially provided. I'm confused to select the company. Job base salary presented by HR during screening interview was $130-$145k. I have 3-5 years more experience and more education compared to the posting requirements (BA required, I have a MS). I’m a first year associate and I hate it. I regret choosing biglaw so much. It’s not so much the hours even, but the content of what I do (HCPE) feels wrong to me, and the amount of time I spend working on non-billable projects just to be yelled at for not billing crazy numbers.
