Looking at a Director position in a tax strategy role, heavy on planning /M&A/international tax in industry. Big company, mid tier cost of living city (not Bay Area or the Northeast, but still expensive). I have a JD, no LLM, coming from B4.

Still waiting on a written offer but sounds like I will be offered a manager role (current senior) in a different SL. I’m expecting right (25 weeks). I applied for the role in October and it took them months to get the okay to have the role remote, I didn’t think it would happen. Did interviews last week. When do I say I’m expecting? What is the possibility of getting fired at PwC AC Bangalore? I always have this fear that I am not technically sound and someday they would find it and fire me. Sometimes I don't know many things and I'm not a quick learner as well. I try a lot but not able to grasp things faster and sometimes struggle a lot which leads to anxiety and shivering. I have 3yrs of experience.

How to deal with this or shall I think about other career options? I'm having difficult time now a days thinking about it.

I’ve gotten an initial offer and trying to get some context on what the range is for this and whether I should push for more or accept.
