Hello Folks, please suggest to me whether it's a good time to join JPMC in Bangalore location for CCB lob as quant anaytics associate role? I've got the offer letter already and I just wanted to take views from someone who's working inside JPMC bglre. How are the layoffs in the CCB lob ? Considering I saw a few other posts talking about layoffs in CCB. Please help me in making a decision. I have to decide whether to put down my papers in my current company or not.

I gave 4 rounds of interview for Manager 1 but the final decision was that I am unable to raise the bar. The recruitment coordinator asked me if he can keep my details or share my details to his colleagues so that they can check if I fit in some other role in future. Any idea about the cool off period?Amazon

It looks like they are hiring at one end and firing at other.I see people here saying it's laying off but on linkedin i see posts from recruiters regarding hiring. It will be better if someone answers who is already working there for 3+ years.I too need the perfect answer. Please help.
Yeah.. it's very confusing
Do you have any of your friends in JPMC currently working? If yes, could you please connect me with them?
No company is safe these days. JPMC on one end is risky (i have seen so many people getting laid off in last 16+ years) that i have been here. There are also many people who love to work here and have stated with the company for 10+ years. Please continue to keep your skills sharp, maintain good relations with your boss and boss’s boss (very important) and off course have a proper financial planning (NPS investment, Mutual Funds investment etc). Not to ignore your health (which is important as well).
If your existing company is good both interms of stability, tech stack, learning then stay there. What are the things that you're looking from the rol? Ignore JD, you'll not get many things mentioned in JD
May I know on what bases you are suggesting this? Is the CCB business unit not doing great? Are they laying off people from the credit card department in CCB? I have been hired for credit card pricing using python, sql and ML.

CCB isn’t doing great. JPMC also replaced the CEO of CCB last week just google it. The new CEO is cutting the cost left right and centre.
