I’m in the final stages for a Senior Specialist role at MSD. Here is my timeline so far:

Feb 20: Interview with manager and MD

Feb 23: Received "Congratulatory" email

March 4: HR/Salary discussion

It’s now March 12th and I’m still waiting on the official paperwork. Is it normal for MSD to take more than a week to generate the offer after the HR call? Any advice would be helpful!

I have got an offer for Manager level at a Big 4 in Consulting. People who are 3-4 years juniors at my MBA college are at Manager level and might get promoted sooner than me. Also, a couple of immediate juniors are at Senior Manager level.

Have you been in a similar situation? Is it awkard? How to handle it after joining?

PS: If you are wondering, I do not have a Big 4 or consulting experience while they have it.
