You should stop comparing for your own sake. The question that you should ask yourself is that is the new role something that will help further your career in a meaningful way.If yes,you should go ahead and accept. There would always be people who are doing better than you ,just like there would be folks doing worse. My two cents. All the best.
I'm joining here because I'm stuck in my current job and because Big Four would be good to have in your career. My thinking is about how others (batchmates, friends etc.) would perceive this. Also this would become awkward during day to day working.
Also, would be good to hear your opinion on how promotions and designations work at big four. Is my designation reasonable given the experience?

I think u should look for other options since if you join here , your mind will keep comparing and you won't like it here. And that will reflect in your performance as well . And bad performance will increase this rank gap further. But I want to ask how did they gain such a lead over you? Normally 3&4 yrs junior person from same college should not be at the same position.
Prohably because they have been there for the last 5-6 years. Not sure how the promotions at the Big Four work. Guess Manager designation looks decent for 9 YOE on a standalone basis. Especially when you do not have consulting or big four experience.
Generally, how long does it take to become a Manager and then Senior Manager at the big four?

Generally post mba people join as associate and become manger after 5-6 yrs. Currently which industry do you work in ? And where did you do mba in ? I also work at a big 4 and might be able to refer you for a senior manager position if your exp is relevant to my advisory team
