Is there a way to gain some modeling skills from FDD? My plan is to exit as FP&A or Corp Dev but I heard they are looking for modeling skills. I know that working I can try to move to IB and then try that route but IB hours seem to be too brutal for me.

Does anyone use their private car to drive to work from hebbal, thanisandra or places that are 20kms away? It may be an absurd question to ask considering the Bangalore traffic, but still checking if there's anybody driving down that distance?

My close friend works for the mayor of my mask mandate city. We are both libs. I think the mandate was once good, is silly now. She just blew up at me when I asked for data to support their position. All I got was “I’m tired let’s talk tomorrow.” I’m disappointed she could not engage and support her opinion.

I am mainly working with shops in the States as a non-native speaker and I am constantly worried about my ability to communicate (in any professional occasion but mostly in meetings). I am working with some of the best shops and this makes the situation worse considering that I am largely surrounded by an extremely competent group of folks that are super good at any form of communication. How do you feel as a native speaker when you meet non-natives? Should they be worried, or, they doing ok?

I have been given rank 42(senior tech lead 3) for my 12+ years of experience . Is that correct one ? I'm not much aware of the ranking and designation in EY, could you tell me if this is corect or should I ask something else for my experience? Why do people “certify the question” during depos - this one guy says it after every instruction not to answer. From his tone it’s not to “mark” the section of the transcript for him later. Isn’t this an old school thing - like pre computers?
