What are some of your favourite books?

I’ve been seeing a lot of product roles lately and I’m just wondering if this was a good path to pursue (In terms of career growth, salary, etc.) I’ve working as a data analyst and am thinking of trying something else but I’m not sure what types of roles are really out there.

Can some of you experienced folk recommend some good books for rookies? What are your favorites for investment strategies, marketing, selling, etc.?

Have opportunity to work in my firm’s London satellite office for about a year and a half, and then come back to NY headquarters. In good standing with firm and have M&A and capital markets experience. Up antidepressant dosage or quit?
Relatively new position at a coveted firm as their Marketing and BD manager. Have suffered burnout and depressive episodes previously: can feel the symptoms raising it’s head. I am currently handling 150+ mostly MVAs and premise liability cases, just about all in suit, (on top of about 10 DUIs and other small traffic matters) and I feel like I'm drowning and looking to jump ship. Has anyone ever dealt with Geico UM case where they insist that a release needs to be signed? Geico extended our client’s policy limits but wants him to sign a release. We offered to sign an acknowledgment of receipt of funds but Geico said without a release signed, they will not issue payment.

As a former Corporate Counsel, now mostly solo practitioner in Federal Court specialty practice is a mixture of Bankruptcy, Immigration, Business Transactions and Employment law.
My question is could I affiliate "of counsel" on part of my practice like say only Employment Law?

What’s a good LA or NY business litigation firm and salary to expect? I’m a 2yr with quite frankly a lot of experience across civ rights, PI, excessive force, wrongful death, employment defense, K dispute, corp. structure dispute, professional licensure. Write every kind of brief, appeals, argue motions, take depos. Am the only associate working directly under partner on all cases. In house or M&A/Real Estate Transactional are likely the end goal but want to get the litigation out of me first.

I am finishing up my second year of practice as a lawyer. I transitioned to plaintiffs pi work from a boutique commercial litigation firm. I like the work and not having to bill. The issue I am having is managing volume. I have about 150 active files some pre-lit and the rest are in litigation. Cases range in value from very small to low six figures. I also take the driver seat for the grunt work on the firms bigger cases which are at or near 7 figure value. I constantly feel (cont.)
