I am at my end of my trimester course in Diploma in Interior design. I have applied for few internships, I was selected for 2 companies, one is WFH and another is at office. The one which is WFH is not paid for a month, but i don't what they are going to pay, the one is at office pays 8000per month , it is of 4 months internship.
Confused what to choose!
Any suggestions from your end?

Home office preference question. I am getting ready to redo the layout of my home office. One option I'm considering would have my desk facing a wall. I am wondering if anyone with this current setup has any feedback about it. I would face the wall so that I would have a better background for video conferences (am on about half the day) and also my cord situation would be cleaner.

Looking for a home office chair…I need something really ergonomic/comfortable but given the visibility of the office in the house the wife wants something stylish. She keeps calling all my ideas ‘gamer chairs’ even though they’re definitely not. Anyone have any chairs they really like that may be worth looking at? I feel like I’ve looked everywhere (Steelcase, Herman Miller, humanscale, Haworth, xchair, etc).

I have recently joined bank of america, india branch, it's not been 15 days actually. And they are asking all the employees who are working from home to come to office. Which is 18 april. Can we as a employee ask the company to continue with the work from home model.

Have anyone taken Growth school design workshops? Are they even relevant?
I know they might be teaching all proper UX but in reality companies doesn't follow.
There is no scope for doing research. And it is only a handful of product company that has a design team, rest places doesn't even understand what actual Design is. But being in this field, not everyone will get a chance to work with top design driven companies

What do companies ask, for a Designer to become a Design/Creative Lead. I've seen Ppl getting promoted to Lead in 10+ years in some companies and just 5-6 years in some companies. Any idea?

I have an offer from Gartner India they are giving me 30% hike. Is this the right amount of hike for a graphic designer with an experience of 2.9years?
