I have recently joined Ford chennai and see that the laptop is yet to be allotted, but from the website got to know that I am being provided dell laptop.

Recently we were told on point system for accessories for laptop.

Thinking to get this updated to MAC.

Is MAC better than windows and the accessories pointers can be used in a better way or should I stick with windows.

This practice is on a big push of having ppl certified in one of those Advanced Cloud Certifications. We can pick either AWS, Azure and GCP with various specifications. Any recommendation on which one to pick? Ideally the widely used ones by client.

My friend has referred me in Virtusa, within 2 days HR called and said they have a job role for my profile and will confirm back for interview, but now they are saying that job post is closed.

I have been recently selected in Virtusa and in the compensation there are components like Internet reimbursement, LTA, food reimbursement.
Could anybody please help me to understand will these components be paid out to me monthly or will be only provided if i submit the proofs for the particulars.
Also is the food reimbursement offered in the form of monthly Sodexo coupons?

I’ve been approached my by company that one of our large clients (who im currently project managing for) is looking for a consultant of sorts, and if they hire us, I’d be the first person asked to take on this consultant role. This isn’t something my company typically offers and would greatly change the scope of my role. Has anyone ever taken on a role like this? If so, were you able to negotiate a percentage of the consulting fee? Or was it a bump in salary during the project?
