I'd like to ask what would the ideal expectation of a person who takes on a new position using old dated software, that's not completely a functional digital record. The software I had never heard of. The office still uses paper documents to be scanned in. The assistant never implements treatment plans or treatment from the back. So unorganized and learning to file insurance claims and cost. How long would you expect someone to learn this job

How do you handle a class who refuses to do homework? It is a lower level class (I.e. not honors) but they are capable, but so apathetic. On a good day 40-50% of kids will do it .. I’m at a loss.

I've been a dental assistant for 11 years , and I think I'm done . I feel the pay is never enough and 9/10 we do the most work in the office . It's never commensurate to what we do and no matter how much experience you have your still 3-5$ more than someone fresh out of school . It's a skill I'm glad to know that I can always find work but the burnout for nothing isn't worth it. Can anyone relate

As my career progressed as a RDA, I moved to the front office and eventually management. I even taught dental assistants and became the Program Director of a DA program. COVID opened up remote work for me, I manage eclaims, claims corrections and billing for two offices. $20 per hour, no bonuses or incentives, I know I am not getting paid enough!
