Don’t give up remote work unless it’s more money! Keep shopping around until it’s worth it. I recently joined Publicis from a remote role and if it weren’t for the big pay raise I wouldn’t have accepted it
It’s a margin more, nothing life changing
Tough call…. Remote is SO helpful with all the planning calls and appointments. I moved from Publicis to WPP a few months ago for a pay bump and it’s hard to say what’s stable at any holding company anymore. I personally wouldn’t leave unless it’s better pay!
I wouldn’t move unless it’s a bump of some sort.
Feels short sighted to let your wedding planning realities, that will be over in 6 months, impact your career move choice. Prioritize pay, people and your path.
I would never have survived planning my wedding this year working in person. Don’t do it unless it’s for significantly more money
I just fear my team at WPP is going under, everyone is leaving or has left
I know someone at a WPP agency that also feels like this and is also trying to leave. I’d go to Publicis
I’m staying remote as long as I can. When I returned to office before I realized how much it costs in time, transit, coffees, lunches, and clothes.
Weddings are (hopefully) fabulous temporary celebrations; marriages are (hopefully) long-lasting ventures. Which of your choices prioritizes the wedding vs. the marriage, and vice versa? Which one is more important to you?
WPP is absolutely so wack. but not sure if Publicis is any better tho
Publicis is a shitshow
Pro
Publicis is awesome. Come on over!
