Hey everyone, I’m looking to sublease my 1bed/1b at 808 S Michigan Avenue (Sentral Building). Rent is $2,440/month and the lease runs to 2/1. Offering August + September free.

40th floor, faces north, and overlooks Millennium Park, Willis Tower, and is across the street from Grant Park. Next to Lollapalooza in the summer and food, arts, and music festivals throughout the year. Trader Joe’s is a 5 minute walk, and the nearest Train/Subway stations are just 10 min by walking.

The stress of this job ruined my life.
The stress has lead to an eating disorder that I can’t get control of. I’ve lost 25 pounds since starting at the firm two and a half years ago. I am 20 pounds less than I was in high school... I don’t know how to get control again. Even when the stress lays off I can’t eat more due to being used to being busy for almost 9 months out of the year...

Staying at the Ritz and STR in the Maldives so expecting good service and reading mixed things about tipping. I usually don’t tip much at hotels (never really thought about it) but what do people do? Is there an expectation and would the amount be based on like room rate or just a flat daily per day?

Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.

How do you/have you navigated your way through and out of these situations?

Anyone in Chicago? Hoping to get some legal advice about rent. I'm in an informal setup with a landlord who rents out a room to me without credit checks, written and signed contract, or deposits. So it's just monthly payments. I've been renting for more than a year now and need to move out in July (1yr and 7mos then) due to work commitments out of state that I have put on hold due to the pandemic. The landlord insists that since I didn't notify her 2 to 3 months before my rent anniversary I shou
