Hey everyone, I’ve had eight interviews with media agencies but I keep getting rejected after the screening stage. I’ve worked with big clients like Amazon, Nestlé, and Zara, and have over three years of experience. I’m confident in my communication skills, and my approach during the screening but I’m not sure why I’m not progressing past the first round.

Anyone have advice on what I might be missing or what I can improve to move forward? Appreciate any insights!

1st yr at a nyc v50 firm doing general transactional work. I know the lateral market for transactional lawyers is hot but not as hot for juniors. I just want a change of scenery because my current firm is bleeding good associates / not giving great training imo / and just seems small. Would lateralling this early feasible? Would it look bad on my resume?

I’m a junior in big law and in the short time I’ve been here, I’ve noticed that counsels produce perfect drafts and yet aren’t partners but partners can’t write two sentences without numerous typos. Shouldn’t counsels be partners and partners counsels instead?

Have interviewed a couple of people from WK over the past few weeks and have been hearing a lot about how it’s becoming a pretty horrible place to work since Susan came onboard. The criticism was more around actually working there than the work itself but is it really that bad?
