I was informed today that my employment would be terminated at a tier-2 consulting firm in Toronto. The reasons for my dismissal are unclear and I would like to get legal advice on the termination agreement and severance package that was offered. Hello Fishes, Need some inputs here, I was interviewed by TCS and cleared the technical round & uploaded documents in Ibegin portal. But salary negotiations didn't went well and they didn't release the offer letter. Again after 2weeks I was interviewed by TCS & cleared the technical round, but this time after uploading the documents they came back to me & said they couldn't process my profile, As different BU has already started my process & kept on hold. Been doing accounting for over a year, I am well adversed in accounting, payroll, sales tax, and taxes, have done accounting for companies generating up over 10 million dollars in revenue. Everyone at my firm got a pay bump about a few months back but I’m still stuck at $15 the hour. Am I getting taken advantage of? I’ve also worked through a tax season and have been putting out 80-90 hour weeks consistently. Haven’t stopped working 60+ hour weeks since May. Almost 21. Any help????

I have signed an offer letter with Google back in Nov’21 but due to the VISA transfer process and then RFE, it took a lot of time for the H1B to get approved. ($260k)

Parallely, I recently received an offer from Chime which I want to accept. They will start my H1 Transfer once formaities get completed. ($350k)
