Does anyone have recommendations for an accountant (CPA)? I feel like word-of-mouth is going to be better than all the googling I’ve been doing. I’m open to having an accountant not in the state I live in, but preferably east coast. My last accountant was not great and super unresponsive (Google was not helpful even though they had great reviews...) This year I’m going to need a decent accountant for tax planning purposes as my taxes will be more complicated. Feel free to DM directly

How do you get experience when no one will hire you? I wouldn’t mind hanging a shingle but I feel it’d be irresponsible to do so with no experience. Unlike all of my classmates, I never landed an internship/externship in law school - had only one interview. I was a PT law student, came from a CS background, and worked in IT throughout law school. I passed the bar exam on my first try (Oct 2020) and have only had a couple interviews out of the hundreds of applications I sent out. Any suggestions?

I work in commercial real estate retail leasing. Current employer just increased base to $100k with avg. 20-35% bonus/commissions combined. Received offer to exclusively work for a tenant and help them open new locations. $115k base 10% bonus & also stock options. Remote work, lots of driving, similar job title. Its a VC funded startup & aggressively growing. I’ve never worked for a start up, so curious what everyone’s experiences are and any feedback would be super appreciated thank you!!

3 years of experience as a corporate lawyer.
Expecting an offer from both Deloitte India and Capgemini.
Deloitte India - Senior Consultant
Capgemini - Associate Consultant

Capgemini has verbally promised me 9 LPA but the offer is yet to be released.
Deloitte India has not yet communicated any offer, neither verbal nor formal.

I am more inclined towards joining Deloitte India as it is a bigger position than Capgemini.

Am I on the right track?
