Hello All, I have offer in hand of 27.5 LPA+15% variable from ZS Associates as a BT Solutions delivery consultant and now my current company is ready to retain me by matching the offer & assuring that they will send me onsite to UK in couple of months. Now I am in a dilemma of what to do as I have been looking for onsite opportunities for my entire career so far. Kindly share your thoughts. Very much also depends which team you are on. are you expected to be sitting at a client, or mostly working from office with occasional client visits?
Will be pretty dependent on office
You will need a car most probably
Clients should pay for Ubers?
ZS6 only if you drive to the office. I take the train to the office and drive to clients, so I get fully reimbursed.
Philly is little tricky to take a call on if you need a car. Based on what client you get assigned you’ll get reimbursed for travel (Uber, rental car or even gas). Some clients however don’t pay for travel and there having your car will be handy.
If you plan to live in the downtown area consider added expense of a parking garage ~$300 monthly.
A lot of ZSers in Philly get along fine without a car, but I would recommend getting a car if you are comfortable with the added expense of a parking garage as a car will give you a lot of flexibility to move around.
Which office? !
OP said Philly in their response up top
