Is it irrational for me to get an “ick” for this?

I went on a “date” recently. I paid for the tab as they were going to the bathroom. As we were leaving they said “thanks for lunch” — I was hoping they’d at least ask to Venmo me half as a kind gesture. Following lunch we grabbed dessert. I was hoping they’d offer to cover dessert since I covered lunch but it didn’t happen.

I am fine w/ paying but I was hoping the gesture would at least be presented… am I crazy?

I was discussing my recent job search with some friends and we got into a small debate. I stand firm on not wasting my time applying for a job that doesn't post the salary with the job description, anyone else do this? I feel like anytime I have interviewed for a job that didn't post the salary, they end up lowballing me during the offer phase.

Any chance SG rental prices will be coming down soon ? I'm returning to SG after 3 years abroad and debating staying at figment or hmlet for a few months before locking down a 2 year lease.

I am an unmarried working man in his 30s with a southern mother. I was just informed after the third round of interviews they’d like at least 5 references, two must be supervisors. My last job was a temporary remote job where I didn’t really interact with my supervisor and the jobs before that were at my family’s business (I do not speak to any of them for serious personal reasons.) Anything before that was grad school and I haven’t kept in contact with any professors from over five years ago. What should I do? 😕
