Hi all, in the spirit of the holiday let's start a gratitude thread in here! What are three things you're grateful for this year? 🦃

A steady paycheck, my kids and spouse, my furry dogs, my ability to read (I know that sounds ridiculous but it’s saved me this last week!)

God, health, family and friends.

Life, health and wisdom

My husband, my animals, my job.

My new district, my family, and my trainer.

I’m grateful Thanksgiving is over. Every. Year. Same. Story… cannot stand my brother’s extended family. Thankful that I live alone and can do whatever, whoever, whenever I want 😂

Also, just found out that in a recent study, the happiest demographics are single-over-30-no-kids females. Woohoo 🎉 🥳 🙌 Living proof.

God, family, my work tribe

Life, love and peace

God, my family, my incredibly supportive 2nd Grade Team, my wonderful campus administration, my students, and this year for the special Angel in Heaven who blessed me and my classroom with her presence until she was taken back to her everlasting home❤️ ( I know I named way more than 3, but I feel very blessed!)

God, family, and friends

This job is all three. Every day I get to witness the spark of learning ignite in my students' eyes. It's a privilege to be a part of their educational journey and to help them discover their passions and potential. Warms me up inside.

Grateful for love, shelter, fun, & food.

I’m grateful for my family, friends and ability to help others.

I am grateful for my students, my admin and for the encouragement they give me to do self-care. I am thankful that I am loved and needed at home as well as in my work.

Family, friends, and my health!

Any EU attorneys who went for an LL. M. in international commercial law (or other) in Europe?

If so have you found it "worth" the year of your time? I am currently working at a firm that specializes mostly on commercial law and has a lot of foreign clients. I have some options regarding the possible LL. M. One of them is little less prestigeous that would allow me to stay working at law firm as I am studying. The other would mean taking a year off work and pursuing the LL. M, Thanks for help

Why companies don’t even consider candidates with OPT? :( I feel they really don’t even look at my candidate profile when they read I will require sponsorship in the future.
As a data analyst I have a STEM OPT that allows me to work here in the US for up to 3 years (a lot of time to prove myself or even pivot my career and change of company for them not to worry about sponsoring me) but still I feel they don’t care. MOST companies, I should say.

Everyone on my team is leaving the firm. The PPMD who hired me left the firm before my start date, now two seniors have left in the last 2 months. My team will be down to <3 with no manager/SM/PPMD. A Manager/PPMD from a diff. City is going taking our “office” over, so I’ll be the random staff that lives out of state but reports to them. What would you do?

Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?

Many thanks in advance

Looking for some advice here: I work for a client that loves me & I love him back as well. Get along super well with the creative team and we’re like “one team” .
