Got one with the aesthetic I wanted that can turn into a backpack with straps or a briefcase with straps hidden, and it has a little strappy thing that lets me slide it down the handle of my carry-on

Amazon. Not sure it even is a brand. Masa Kawa or something.

T. Anthony makes a great briefcase.

Previously had one from saddleback leather. Eventually swapped it for a Tumi backpack. Organization is key for me and, although there were plenty of pockets, it did not compare to all of the zipper compartments and ease of use in Tumi's products.

I personally think M0851 has exceptional leather products/messengers bags. But you want to see them in person (NYC, Toronto, and a few other places).

Bosca.

Frank Clegg Zip Top Briefcase (double gusset) for everyday. Saddleback Flight Bag for when I travel. Previous had a standard Coach briefcase. I only have a 13” laptop and some files to carry, so it works for me. If I need to carry more, toss in a backpack or tote, depending on where I’m going.

I’m in the market for a new one. Any recommendations for ones made in USA, UK, or Europe (I.e., not outsourcing any work to China) or alternatively any blogs or forums that are good for figuring out the best vintage ones to buy?

Quick question.
I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
Should I:
- Continue working with the recruiting company, hoping that they will find another position for me? (as they told me they will, and when they applied me I started working with my current company within 2 weeks)
- Work with the recruiter + apply for jobs on my own?
