It really depends on your priorities to be honest.
Trump is more likely to keep taxes low, continue to confront China on IP theft and trade, pressure businesses to be more pro-America, increase restrictions on immigration, and continue to move towards Isolationism and “America-first” policies on the international stage. However, he has an awful character, permits or invites corruption, and is fond of cronyism. He has made some bold moves and attacked a lot of US institutions (for better or worse).
Biden is more likely to increase taxes, make very marginal changes to healthcare, expand government programs to help low income Americans, allow for a more loose immigration policy and a path to citizenship for undocumented citizens, have a more collaborative foreign policy, prioritize efforts against climate change, reign in business excesses and expand worker protections
Again - mostly depends on your priorities. I am closer to Trump on the issues I find most important but I also find him to be personally reprehensible and I’m alarmed at the rampant cronyism in his administration.
I think the Trump Presidency has served a useful purpose and I’m glad he beat Clinton but it may be time to help the pendulum swing back in the other direction.
Thanks! I agree those points above! Trump character is really bad but I do lean toward his policies to some extent...don’t know enough about Biden

Thanks for actually contributing something helpful Manager 1.
OP I think wikipedia will also give a decent overview of policies, prior stances, etc
I also STRONGLY encourage you to look at fact checkers from a variety of websites (i.e. Polifact), in order get an idea on general how truthful the candidates are.
They are good at citing their sources and reasoning so you can follow along and verify yourself on whether their assessments are valid.
Appreciated it! Can you recommend some more unbiased politics website?

Yes, I’ll vote for him because I hate our constitution

Trump is much more likely to keep taxes low. Biden has said he will raise taxes and the new spending he plans to introduce will be need even bigger tax increases than he is talking about. Trump's economic policies had been successful until COVID. I don't like him as a person but prefer his policies to Biden's.
This is not accurate. You can't definitively say that his economic policies were successful. It could be argued that he didn't do enough, but time will tell here.
The was no noticeable boost to GDP growth coming from Obama. Obama was criticized for not achieving higher than 3% growth average throughout quarters. Critics conveniently ignore the recovery out of the great financial crisis and prevention of certain policies that would led to new alternative energy based jobs.
The Job growth numbers were just a trend that has was continuing from Obama.
When he bragged about thing like lowest unemployment, it's much less meaningful when it was already trending downward before he was elected and continuing steadily.
Low unemployment did NOTHING to address rising income inequality or improving access of healthcare.
We also know that the TCJA resulted more in companies completing stock buybacks rather than leading to massive job creation.
Lastly, Trump's lack of action on this pandemic and climate change will likely result in the US being less prepared for the future environment compared to other developed countries.
Pay close attention to other countries perform over the next decade. When US is falling behind, do not dare blame the left for all that's going, just like Obama was blamed for a financial crisis that he inherited.
I know you don't like to hear spending, but do you understand why spending will be required coming out of this? Do you understand the implications of not doing anything?
Why do you not mention anything about Trump and his spending/what he has prioritized?

Is this enough reason?

Do the Reagan question on yourself. Are you better off now than you were 4 years ago? Do you feel the country is better off now than it was 4 years ago?
Bit worse i feel. Much amplified by COVID response..

Why is it your first time voting? In terms of political goals, what are some things that are important to you?
Honestly I felt angry in recent days of trump’s lack of leadership. It compelled me to vote. But then I don’t want to vote on emotion. So wanted to see the support behind each candidate
A level-headed and sensible reply. This is politics bowl hall of fame material!
I'd recommend isidewith.com and yourmorals.org
