Hi all! My beautiful home desk/office was originally my lesson planning haven before I had kids. Now it's buried under their toys! I'm tempted to plan at school for some quiet, but I'd rather be home with my family in the late afternoons. Plus, my brain works best for planning at night. Where do you usually do your planning?

You should find time to declutter your home office if that's where you feel most comfortable doing lesson planning. Just an entire weekend to arrange the office. I work in a school where we plan together. I do actually like how we do the same thing so we share everything in school.

I plan at work, mostly- so my materials and curriculum manuals are at my fingertips.

I'll stay after school about 45 minutes, just long enough to finish the essentials while it’s quiet. That way, when I get home, I can focus on my kids… until they’re asleep and I sneak back to my laptop for round two!

I find that I get a ton more done at school before school than I do after. It is quieter and I'm fresh.

Relocation - EY INDIA

Hi Guys,
I am from EY India (2 years ++)
What's the best way to approach my counselor for a relocation to another city so that the counselor/manager approves without any issue..
Obviously it won't happen overnight, I have to give my handover and that could take a month, I am fine with that.

Anything I should take care of before joining new location?
Please provide some tips..

Thanks in Advance!

I have 12+ yoe. I work in AWS with a 23L base, 13L JB and 5 RSU (29.8L ), L4. I am about to receive an offer from ADP . What band/grade would be great to negotiate. For ADP anything around 45L-48L including 12% variable (not sure about JB) is considered to be the right offer? I have another offer from Accenture 32L fixed, 10L variable, 6.4L JB. I guess wlb in Accenture would be more difficult than ADB?? What's your view fishes !!! Consider AWS and ADP in Hyderabad where Accenture in home town

I flunked out of school and had no options when I joined the army. I hated every second of my time in, and spent all my weekends getting as drunk as possible.

Now that I’m out, I graduated with my BA in Econ, got a job I love, and somehow got into an M7 Bschool with a 670 GMAT. I look back on my time in and laugh, and still talk with some of my old army buddies (though not as often anymore)

Amazing how time can change your perspective, because 10 years ago I never thought I’d be here.
