If you are happy in your job I will suggest don't come just for the brand..it sucks after an year...they ll make you work like they are giving you double.. when in reality you are underpaid. Don't leave your job just to get a big four tag especially when you are satisfied there and they are paying more..lots of these big four opportunities will knock on the door in future. My point is Deloitte or any other big four looks like a charm just for few days.. after that's it's all same

D USI 1: I think you misunderstood this. I agree to your point. Generally people should be encouraged to join bigger and better companies or anything for that matter as humans survive for growth. That's the only driving factor to live life with a chase. But in this case it's not logical because only positive thing is brand over comfort, peace, more pay, already familiar conditions, peers . I said if it's not uncomfortable then stay there..just only and only for a better brand don't sacrifice that.

I would say stay at your present firm bcs deloitte would take atleast another 3 years to promote you and since you are aleardy coming at a salary of 3rd year BA your hikes in upcoming years would not be that much as compared to others because they maintain an average target base pay system.

It's not about how big the company is, it's about how they are treating you and your value in your current organization. If it is going cool in ur organization and if there is a chance to reach heights stay with your organization

Daddy D is throwing around some pretty crazy referral bonuses right now. If I can hit four referrals, I’ll split evenly among all four + myself. Up to $10k per person and at least $2.5k per person. Put it in escrow and everything. So if you’re looking to change firms, a new opportunity, etc. DM me. Can easily negotiate a nice sign on bonus, and my offer should sweeten the pot.

Strategy folks - how do you get good at … strategy? Recently started at a startup in a role where I’m the only person under the head of our product team who handles the strategy-focus of the company. He wants me to take more ownership from him and I want to crush it but have no relevant experience here and am still fairly junior. Any books or classes? Or is it just trial by fire.
