What types of questions do you like to ask candidates during your first initial conversation with them?

generally speaking, do government agencies actually demand more from you if you’re in a higher vs. a lower salary tier/division e.g., I vs. II, II vs. III, III vs. IV, etc.? Perhaps there’s a difference between maybe I and III but is there a significant difference in responsibilities and performance expectations between II and III, or III and IV for example?

Is this legal? My spouses company just decided to change their comp structure for account managers. It was base + comm, now it’s commission only but nothing changed, OT commission is the same, didn’t get more points, just took away the base pay and said work harder basically. So now they have to worker harder to get $50k they were already making. (Not a decision based on employee performance, they’ve been crushing it. I think the company is just trying to save money they overspent else where)

Has anyone ever asked to renegotiate their salary after starting a job? I’m 2 months into my new job and I have far more responsibilities than what I was told. It’s a lot different than what was relayed in the posting and during the interviews. Additionally, they hired my counter part in as a senior manager which is at least $30k more than what I make. My peer has more experience so I expect that but I feel that I should be paid more, however I don’t want to leave a bad impression… any advice?

I have 3 years experience being an account manager in a large brokerage. I got promoted to be a supervisor to a small team of account managers and started at $77k and have now increased to $83k 6 months later. Indeed just blocked our company account job posting feature citing they found our company unsuitable for Indeed. We have been using Indeed for years now for free and paid job ads and always follow terms of use. They asked for a company document for verification purposes after they blocked us from posting. I provided Business Entity Detail, sales tax license, business and management indemnity policy declaration but they didn’t take them as valid proof. Have you dealt with anything like this?

I'm confused whether to join TCS now itself (which might be too soon to settle down) or go for CTS for next 2 years. Please suggest me. Urgently need advise. I have an oral offer from a company. After I negotiated for salary , they told that we have decided to drop your candidature. Then I requested I am okay with the offered salay and can join immediately. She told me to write over mail to her & her manager. I did that. After doing this, I called hr she told me that we r waiting for hiring manager approval. I mailed hiring manager by cc'ing both the HRs that I'm vry much interested. No +ve response till yet. Wat should I do now
