I have 4 years of experience in Manual QA (airline cargo domain). I was laid off 4 months ago and have been actively applying since, but most job descriptions now focus on Automation QA. Manual QA opportunities seem limited, and I am finding it difficult to get shortlisted.

If anyone knows of current openings for Manual QA roles or companies still hiring in this area, I would really appreciate your guidance or referrals.

My office now looks like a spaceship. Had 2 monitors on my desk, both 22 inch. And I had my 42 inch flatscreen on the wall. Today, i went out and bought a 23 inch widescreen.

Is there any advice for networking into projects when you don’t know many people at the firm yet? I always to help on BD work when I’m on the bench, but it never turns into any billable work. Every time I have talked to a partner/senior manager I was told I don’t have the skill set they’re looking for, but I don’t know how to build up from there. Feeing very lost but I want to improve my approach.

Does anyone in this group have ADHD? Are you finding that working in a law firm setting and billing hours is just not something they can do or is it possible with the proper medication and therapy?

I don’t cut my hours, I consistently reach 7 hours a day, but it’s not enough to meet my firm’s minimum requirement. I’m usually working 9 hours/day.

Will CTS change the job location in the offer released? It's different to what's been agreed not sure if they're in rush to release offer and such occurrence.

Occupational therapists/physical therapists/SLP, what is a good pay per billable hour/pay per unit? Transitioning from a mental health salary of 70k and looking to at least match that, preferably go higher but not sure how to calculate that.

Good Evening My Fellow Christian Educators! I realize it is going to be challenging for me this year...with so many of my students performing below grade level expectations in ELA and MATH and also ensuring that all students follow the COVID Guidelines in the classroom.
