I am Offered 29.5fixed by PwC for SA (L2). Currently on 25fixed. Should I join ? In terms of WLB.! My current employer on fishbowl shows Deloitte but have left Deloitte a year back. Currently in a firm with good WLB but PWFH is a big win for me that PwC is offering.
Any guidance or fist hand experience sharing is highly appreciated.

I strongly believe it would be possible with the proper medication and therapy - also try journaling your thoughts, whether they’re work related or not try jotting down a mind map to de clutter your mind. Journaling when you’re feeling overwhelmed helps too; it takes a load off you and you can get back to work with a clearer mindset. Lastly; set goals for the end of the week or month to get you going and stay motivated. Treat yourself when you reach your goals it’s very rewarding. Goodluck!
I have adhd and honestly with my medication and therapist I am able to manage it better. Not to say it isn’t difficult sometimes lol.
I just started on vyvanse and it’s helping it isn’t a magic pill but it’s helping
It is possible with medication, task list, billing as you go, and keeping a time tracker. The (1) medication helps keep me focused, (2) the task list shows me that I am accomplishing something, (3) billing as I go helps keep me organized and in control, and (4) keeping a time tracker ensures I am billing for every minute of my life that I use to think about someone else’s problem. 🤣
I do. Medication and therapy are big helps.
But real talk, I transitioned from in-house to big law a year ago, and the billable hour is a struggle. I should also note I’m a transactional attorney (not corporate), so I’m all ears if anyone has tips on maximizing my billable time.
Also perhaps consider a different firm with different billable requirements? Or even possibly accommodations?

Junior big law litigator with ADHD combined type. Before meds, it took me 18 hours to bill 8-10. Now with meds, I can bill 6 hours in about 10. Still really difficult and sort of impossible, but more doable than before. but Managing partner knows about my condition and I think I’ve tricked him into thinking that my low hours are because I’m having a hard time finding long term work.
