Why is it that when the subject of pregnancy is brought up, people love to share their traumatic stories and the m- word (pregnancy loss). "Oh you know that m-s are so common.." like did I ask you?! US DOE used same tactic when pushing adoption of the Common Core curriculum.
Bill is being written in Senate now, hoping to pass before the summer recess.

How many of you feel like teaching in public schools is going against your morals lately??? I feel like now that I'm a parent I'm feeling more like how we treat kids and handle behaviors is so against what I want for my own child.

It's great to have this bowl. I am astonished at the replies to conservative posts in the general bowls are. I don't mind sharing and having discussions, but not fun when the others are attacking and not communicating!

I work in Florida where the Parental Rights law concerning gender theory and sexuality in k-3 is currently being labeled the "Don't Say Gay Bill". I find it crazy that so many of my liberal coworkers, even in the social studies department haven't even read the bill and are just buying the low wholesale. I agree that we should leave those choices up to the parents. Do you guys have similar things happening where you're at?
