How do you deal with parental guilt when you have to miss things? When my child was a baby it wasn't as big of a deal as long as I was around for the big stuff and was pulling my weight parent wise. Now that they're 4+ everything is big stuff, and every time I can't be there it really affects them. I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 5 years of experience in an acute care setting. I, also, have a bachelor’s in healthcare administration. Feel like audit scheduling is always done on a knifes edge in that the timeline and staff schedules are enough so that if everyone works 60 hour weeks and no issues are identified then it can be filed on time. But even small things that increase the work can wildly throw off the schedule and cause hours to skyrocket for the staff on the job. No real point here, just ranting.

I work in Florida where the Parental Rights law concerning gender theory and sexuality in k-3 is currently being labeled the "Don't Say Gay Bill". I find it crazy that so many of my liberal coworkers, even in the social studies department haven't even read the bill and are just buying the low wholesale. I agree that we should leave those choices up to the parents. Do you guys have similar things happening where you're at?
