Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon
I don’t know even know what I’m good at anymore.

You haven't provided enough information to answer this question.
How long have you been on this team?
Is the raise tied to performance or a different metric?
Did you try to talk to your manager to figure out why you were excluded?

You haven't been with the company for a year yet, I'm not sure that you should leave just because you missed one raise/bonus. Many companies have policies limiting the amount of money they will give to someone within their first year of employment. In theory this person is still learning their role and how the company works.
Based on your comments, it appears that you're relatively new to corporate life. Office politics plays a huge role in employee growth and performance. It's never wise to rock the boat until you've established a solid reputation and have demonstrated your worth. You've got to play the game if you want to succeed.
What are you basing it on? Busy work doesn’t mean work is impactful. Someone might be busier . Someone else can work less & has more impact. I would set up time and find out. How others on the team qualified for raises. What do you need to work on. This is more about you. Then comparing yourself to your coworkers. Good luck. 🍀
Fair point, and I agree impact matters more than just being busy.
In my case, I’m basing it on actual results — growth in traffic, rankings, and execution of work that directly affects performance. That’s why it felt off.
But you’re right, I haven’t had a clear conversation yet about how raises are being evaluated. I’ll set that up and understand the criteria instead of assuming.
