Always look at your base salary when moving forward..
Yea, was a senior associate at PwC. I left because I hated making slides all day long.
2. Leadership is very project dependent, not all projects have that.
3. The salary hikes are very less
This is helpful. Please can u Dm with some questions?
Domain is operations implementation- supply chain
Usually the trend is other way, but in this case it makes sense for you to move. If you were in tech role, it would’ve been a horrible move
Also make sure you negotiate with PwC and try to get that base up.
You should be able to defer cashing out RSUs for a year after vest in order to get lower capital gains tax rate, no?
The tax rate should be the same for the stocks - if sold within one year - and the bonus. It's all income
50k bonuses sounds high for that base but idk what all the practices do in terms of bonus / base weighting and if you’re including any signing bonus.
What city ?
Is this PWC Canada?..i also want to move out of Amazon FC operations..can you guide me?
No this is in Europe actually. I’d propose to just make an application. That’s all I did anyway. Amazon remains attractive to most employers so I don’t see any issues with getting an interview atleast
PwC bonus seems very high unless you are including signing bonus for TC
Yeah including that. My bad
I took the reverse route went from PWC (intern -> manager) to industry (tech). I personally wouldn’t do it especially if you’re looking for WLB. Sr associates probably have the worse WLB. But if you are looking to make it to manager and use that as leverage for a manager role in industry then it’s not a bad idea especially if you feel you don’t currently have that opportunity. I would honestly just try interviewing elsewhere maybe a tech start up / pre ipo if they are still hiring.
Really appreciate this. Thank you.
