Hi everyone. Sooo I am trying to slowly move out of ads. I just enrolled for university, part time study. Do I tell my agency? I might need to take maybe 2 classes during work hours. Anyone has experience with this?

I was thinking of going back to school part time but taking evening classes… Is that an option for you? Also is there a way to spin this as enrichment? E.g, Publicis has a tuition reimbursement program (contingent on a few things)

Yeah that would be the best. I am thinking of psychology, which isn’t really in the field …

Seconding framing as continuing education at least to get the flexibility during work hours. Not sure about tuition reimbursement though. If they contribute any $ and you leave you'll likely have to pay it back. Make sure you read the fine print.

You’ll need to do evening classes. Not many employers will be ok with you taking daytime classes, but leaving work at say 5pm to attend an evening class would be something that your manager should honor.

What would your reaction be if the company you applied to asked for you to get permission from your current firm before moving forward? The situation is the company you're applying to is a client of your current firm, and you've already gone through the interview process with the new company. Thoughts?

What advice would you all give for getting into this position? Also, do you know any remote positions available that I could apply to outside of the facility I’m currently at? Thanks!

Do any of you work in a different country than your company is based? I would love to eventually work internationally (based in the USA), ideally remote, but I’m not sure how realistic it is for most people

Also unfortunately I don’t code so a programming jobs are out of the question, and I know many of those jobs are easily worked remote/internationally

Hi fishes!

I am seeing too many post about awards like rising star, Kudos, etc. People keep telling there managers recommended them for these awards.
My manager doesn't interact much with us. I consider myself as some one who has worked hard for project and other intiatives. Should I ask my manager to consider me and if yes how should I initiate it.
Part of MC team.

Thank you.
