I have been attending interviews recently.
I have received my first offer from Capgemini which gave me 10.5 LPA.When I asked HR she said based on current CTC we cannot give you more than that .Why do they consider our current CTC ,they have to give value for our skills right ? N if I get next offer what will they consider ? My current CTC or my offer CTC ? Kindly let me know .

Had my interview on 12th Feb evening. The same day late night I got an email asking to upload the Application form( Completed the same on 13th Feb). Can I understand only HR discussion pending for me? If yes how much time will it take for me to get the HR call.

While joining, the company says.. Congratulations, here is your offer letter. Kindly confirm your acceptance over email. As the last step you have to sign the OL "on the date of your joining."

Ques: Is signing OL on the date of joining a normal thing to do? On what basis should I be confident to tell my current org that I am leaving. What if they revoke?
