Has any creative here ever tried to make the leap to leave advertising and be a film maker, photographer, illustrator, etc.?? I’m so tired of ad agencies and how draining the “creative” can be. Midlaw M&A/Corporate 6th year in LCOL city. Have potential opportunity to go in house for public fintech co. doing substantially similar work. Comp similar to what I make now, but vague on upside. For any real estate investors

22 years old and currently focused on using my left over income to invest and pay off my debt. I am set to pay off my college loans by next year and, when I do, I want to look into investing into real estate. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get into/learn more about real estate investing? Or how I can have enough knowledge on the topic to be able to invest wisely when the time comes?

Received a verbal offer/commitment from the engineering team 3 weeks after my interview process. Still sitting and waiting (1.5 weeks) to have the conversation about compensation expectations and finalizing the offer. Is the Google hiring process typically this slow?
