Hi fishes, I have 7 years of total work experience and CCTC at 16 LPA. I live in Bangalore and have a school going daughter in nursery, I know that my CCTC is not enough. I am a MERN stack dev and I am very good in REACT JS and related techs but not able to land any new offers outside. I had cracked all interviews recently in both HCL and IBM but they both ghosted me, HCL hr later told due to 3 months notice period. Should I put papers and try searching for new offers or should I stay put?

I have 7 YOE and applied for a position that is L4. I feel as if I’m overqualified for the position, but the Recruiter told me that when they say L4, they are actually looking for someone with 6+ years of experience. Is this true? I feel like I should be looking at L5 with my experience

1. On what grounds will the recruiter offer you a better pay. Will this not create a negative impression?
2. Can i start looking out for jobs after i put down my papers considering my skills are Snowflake, Informatica, IICS, SQL, API with 8 YOE
3.What salary should I target for the above experience and skills.

Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.

I have been giving interview from last 2 months and yet I haven't got a single offer and people here are getting multiple offers. Even if interview goes nice, I would get rejection mail.

I guess Luck matters a lot even if you perform well. There would be always someone who will do better than you.

I am getting demotivated, but have to continue trying hard.
