I applied for a lateral job in a growing group that doesn’t have associates yet. I talked to a sr. associate in a different office/group to get a better sense of the firm’s vibe and we both really enjoyed our call. He kindly offered to recommend an interview to HR. Is there anything else I can do? Hey all! I went through the interviewing process with a company and we had a verbal agreement on X amount of salary per year. They liked me and extended an offer but the offer was for $15K less than what we agreed bc that’s what HR approved for. I was desperate so I took it. Accepting this offer meant that I had to relocate to the other side of the country. Omw that was 2500 miles, I received a call that they rescinded the offer. Is there anything legal that I can do to sue them?

A Deloitte recruiter told me that I will be getting 9.1 LPA + 10% variable + 80K joining bonus from Deloitte USI. Considering the fact that I am working in IBM India with a technically sound team and that I got promoted a few weeks back only, will it be a good decision to join Deloitte and leave IBM?

9.1 LPA is basically a 30% hike over my existing CTC and I am not sure if Deloitte actually gives a joining bonus and variable component.
