Thoughts on McCann Paris?
I have received a offer from Cerner for Technical solutions Analyst role. It's a support role on SQL and work timing is 5pm to 2 am. I was checking the reviews on Glassdoor and ambition box and i have read alot of bad reviews on management and dirty politics. After reading all this I am concerned if i should go ahead with the offer or not. Please advise how is the work environment, does management support learning and is their dirty politics within team? LEK, ZS, ClearView are all better overall
I would like to understand your capabilities in IT, open for conversation?
Corporate Strategy: McK & BCG
BU / Brand Level Strategy: trinity, Putnam, Huron, clearview, ZS, IQVIA (crowded space, but lots of brands to work on)
M&A (mostly CDD work): LEK, S&, Parthenon-EY, Bain
Sales: ZS, Syneos, IQVIA (though it’s mostly ZS)
I’ve honestly never seen Deloitte other than tech / IT / digital / supply chain strategy work.
Yup all of the firms in that category do Corp strat work for small to midsize pharma - particularly the midsize shops (Huron, Navigant) which tend to operate most heavily in this space.
But just based on what I’ve seen. All very subjective!
Not sure if I agree. We don’t run into them for strategy work, and I’ve heard D is fairly middle of the road for pharma forecasting work. Would put ZS above D in at least a few important categories.
Agree with McK above.
Not sure which street you heard that on, OP - Deloitte University Lane?
Okay let’s break it down and fill in blanks:
Pure play strategy - BCG,Mck, Clearvirew, LEK
M&A /CDD - Strategy&, Leerink, Deloitte
Commercial Ops- ZS, Deloitte, Accenture
IT - Accenture
HR- Accenture
Finance- Deloitte
Supply Chain $ Mfg - ??
For IT I'd say we're a close #2 to Accenture, HR we are #1, and Mfg / Supply Chain #1. I think there are rankings online. I know by size we are #1.
ZS also has a healthy Value and Access space. I’ve been on a few projects where do strategic transformation. We had one project where a top tier firm developed this strategy and the client was like , “This is great, but how do we execute this brilliant idea? Let’s hire ZS.” I’m using that as a playful anecdote and not a generalization. I suspect even pure strategy firms are increasingly seeing importance of strategy coupled to execution.
Supply Chain & Ops - PwC
When you say M&A is that post merger or pre CDD
I mean pre CDD, firms I listed do a ton of CDD work.
From my experience at Deloitte, 90% of my projects fall in R&D, safety, and regulatory operations and technology
We do a lot of post merger M&A, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT. We're basically in the top 3 for anything except pre CDD is pure play Strategy think ... Like utility player
