People waiting for weekend.😀

Is HARMAN really recruiting for permanent remote roles? Would they ask us to come to office after sometime? I am a bachelor woman supporting my sickly parents and can't move them out of city. And my city don't have harman office. HR did mention permanent remote, still want to confirm as I've heard many cases people were called back across different product based companies. Its funny I hear a lot of people say they’re not a scam but nobody I know or have heard of has gotten a position.
BUT I own an agency myself and was recently contacted hey boardsi BDRs pushing two (highly qualified) board members so if I’m totally speculating, I think what they may do is cherry pick a few really great members to try to place them to show success before the platform hits a tipping point.
Just a guess. I have not felt confident enough to respond to their reach outs to pay for membership
Thanks for this reply - that’s exactly my concern - giving them $200/month + initiation fee for what ultimately amounts to a hill of beans. I think I’ll pass on them, at least until I hear a string of positive anecdotes.
How are you even able to do it? We (B4) can’t serve on a company Board until we retire.
P1 there are a lot of common mutual funds and ETFs we can't buy either. Rest of world is different.

The idea that their source of revenue is the prospective board members is absurd
I hear you. But I don’t think it’s so absurd when you consider motivations. Many feel they need to “catch up” and serve on boards when they see peers serving in high impact positions. They think they can short circuit the progress with money. Sometimes, it seems, they can. Others, they’re throwing money at a problem that doesn’t exist (companies haven’t just “not found them yet” hah).
Litmus test - ask to speak to the CEO of a company where they’ve “placed” a Board member. You’ll at least have a data point. I personally think it’s a scam. That’s not how legit Board’s are recruited and shaped.
Not a scam. I haven’t taken any roles but they are for real
If you don’t mind me asking, how long have you been on their platform?
Don't they try to get you sign up for something and spend money.
